One process that should be significant for research are the earliest maps on here. They show cemeteries along the old roadways at the date in time of the maps date. As roads were built into the future and old roads changed or abandoned some of these cemeteries could have been lost to time. By comparing the old maps with a modern day map it will allow you the ability to locate the general area the old cemeteries could actually be located at.
The Ky Historical Maps have legends of what items existed at the time period the map was approved for. It shows churches, stores, ferries, bridges and a host of other items located on the map. The different historical items have symbols that differentiate each item On the Ky Historical County Maps.
