A Kentucky Vendetta
Excerpt from; Daily globe., September 10, 1883
Louisville, Ky., Sept. 9.- Near Littletown, in Green County, Ky., on Saturday. Joe Bagby was shot and mortally wounded at the same spot where his brother was killed two months ago. A deadly feud has existed between Geo. Edwards and Bagby on one side and James Owens, Dodeswell and Mike Rogers on the other. Joe Bagby was shot from ambush, the shot being apparently from a Spencer Rifle. Mike Rogers has been arrested and the others are still at large.
